Reasons To Go Outside A Little Each Day

The weather is getting warmer, flowers are blooming, allergies are taking over. It's beginning to look a lot like Spring! Why not get out and breathe in some fresh air? Just wear some sunscreen and you could end up spending the whole day in the sunshine!


Here are just a few reasons why you should take time and go outside each day:

1) Not only is the sunshine warm, but it also increases the brain's release of the hormone, serotonin, otherwise known as the "happy hormone." All in all, when you do go outside and get some fresh air, you tend to boost your mood throughout the day.

2) Whether you're going for a walk or sinking your feet into the grass, being outside is a good way to get a fresh start. If your stressed, put on some shoes and take some deep breaths.

3) You can't forget the Vitamin D! It's good for our bodies in all kinds of ways such as playing a role for bone health and preventing diseases such as osteoporosis. What are you waiting for? Go out in the sun and get your daily dose of Vitamin D!

Remember to apply sunscreen when you do go out, especially since the weather is warming up!
